Hurumanu - Dirty Water experiment
Aim: To make a filtration plant using household materials.

What is filtration?
Filtration is separating solids from liquids by adding a medium through which only the liquid can pass.
Examples are:
- Pool
- Oil
- Water
Materials
1.One bottle cut in half

3. Filtering paper
4.Pebbles
5. Dirty water

Process - ( use verbs or doing words in each step )
Step 1
Cut the bottle in half

Put the top half upside down in the other half

Add layers of sand

Get 1 cup of dirty water

Pour the dirty water into the funnel
Conclusion:
My groups first attempt with filtering the water didn't go so well because we mightn't of put the filtering paper in the bottle properly But the second attempt our water that we experimented with came out nearly perfect see through.
