WALT: Ask questions before, during and after reading to engage with the text and make inferences.

My prior knowledge about a narrative is that it's and fake story that people have made up. For example JK Rowling's Harry Potter is a narrative. 

My prior knowledge of characters is there is a main character and side characters. 

My prior knowledge of questions is that you ask someone something you don't know for example hi there can you help me with a quality blog comment.

For writing we have been learning to write poems. Over the weeks we have learnt to write a bunch of different poems.

My cinquain poems

My sinquain poems

For writing last week we had been learning how to write cinquain poems. A sinquain poem is a poem with 5 lines and in a specific shape. It starts with a one word title then below it two describing words.

Under the describing words add 3 ing words.

after that add in a line of what you fell about that word and then under that line add a word describing the title. here is my one.
