Kia Ora Samuel. You have written lots of great sentences about Te Tiriti o Waitangi. It is super that you understand how Edward Wakefield planned to take advantage of the Maori people and how the treaty was translated in a hurry and it didn't read the same in both languages.
ReplyDeleteJust a couple of small errors are that the population of Maori in the late 1830s had dropped from 100,000 to 70,000-80,000. Also, in 1833 the United Tribes of New Zealand was established.
Keep up the great work.
