Stormy Night

This term we have been learning about weather. In art I created a stormy night picture. First I dyed my background using dark blue dye, black, light blue. Next we changed to do make our silhouette First I created my town with white crayons. Then I got some scissors  and cut the silhouette out. After we had to create our storm cloud with black paint. Then we draw our lightning with white paint. Then I went glue my silhouette on to my art and write our name. Here is my weather art

WALT: To write an information reports with the correct structure and language features

We are starting to learn about weather for reading we have been writing information reports.

Weather

Man it is cold today “there must be a storm coming… Weather changes minute by minute.

Every day the weather might change. In most countries of the world the weather is different. In some countries like Canada and America get snow at Christmas and in the winter. Other countries don’t get Snow.

In some places there are tornado's and cyclones there are different seasons of the year. There is Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter Seasons happen at different times of the year.

To day is a nice day the nice warm sun. Out there is the nice light blue sky the air is cold.

Floods are caused by heaps of rain. Flash floods can bring walls of water from 10 to 20 feet high. Sewage can get into floods.

There is nothing better than staying inside with hot Milo watching a movie.

Weather art

For literacy we are learning about weather. We use crayon and dye to create a rainy day picture. First I used white crayon to draw the rain. Next I drew a rainbow with crayons, I ha to make sure there were no white bits in the rainbow. After That I used different colors of dye to paint the cloudy dark sky.
