Vaporizing machine

This week for literacy we have been learning about Vaporizing Machines.  We read a book about black holes where people go to space looking for gas and petrol and to do that they have to vaporize planets. So our task was to design our own vaporizing machine. Here is mine

Coconut raisin bliss balls

Coconut raisin bliss balls 

Guys these are so delicious.

On Tuesday room 6, 7, and 8 made bliss balls.

First we had to wash our hands to make sure we had no germs. Then we had to stand around a table. Next we Added one cup of raisins, 1 and a half cup of oats and coconut oil to the food processor. Turn on the food processor and hold the button down for about a minute.

After that we put the desiccated coconut on one of our plates and the cocoa powder on the other. Take

a spoon full of the mixture. Roll the mixture into small bliss balls. After that Roll your bliss ball in your desiccated coconut or cocoa powder.

Just after that we were allowed to eat our bliss ball. They were delicious it was fun making the bliss balls. I had put my bliss ball in the the cocoa powder. The cocoa was a bit strong but the rest was still delicious.

Stormy Night

This term we have been learning about weather. In art I created a stormy night picture. First I dyed my background using dark blue dye, black, light blue. Next we changed to do make our silhouette First I created my town with white crayons. Then I got some scissors  and cut the silhouette out. After we had to create our storm cloud with black paint. Then we draw our lightning with white paint. Then I went glue my silhouette on to my art and write our name. Here is my weather art

               

           
           

A day in a life of a Leopard Seal

Over the last few weeks during literacy we have been earning about Antarctica. We visited the Antarctic Center and read lots of information about Antarctica. I wrote a description about Antarctica using the correct structure and language feature. I also researched about animals and produced a story about a day in the life of a Leopard Seal.
